REAL:FAKE provides a chance for audiences to witness and support the genius of six emerging and mid-career choreographers (Clairey Evangelho, Raychel Hatch, Jenni Hong, Lily Gee, Amber Gott, and Addison Norman). Each of the individual ODC Pilot 74 choreographers’ work is as idiosyncratic as it is relatable. The evening reimagines the physical and theoretical limitations of dance performance while also serving as a mirror of the self. Featuring stunning dancers drawn from all corners of the Bay Area, REAL:FAKE promises to take audiences on a journey of imagination, emotion, and humanity.
